WHERE IT ALL STARTED
In the vibrant city of Miami, where the sun kissed the ocean waves and the scent of tropical flowers filled the air, I found my sanctuary in the most unlikely of places: my home. Living in this bustling environment, I developed a profound love for cleanliness; there was something soothing about a tidy space that made me feel at peace. To elevate that serenity, I would light a candle in every room, allowing the warm glow and delightful fragrances to envelop me.
One day, as I meticulously organized my home, the soft flicker of the flames dancing in each corner caught my eye. It struck me: my fondness for cleanliness and love for candles could be woven together into something beautiful. It was during a rare moment of pause, when I found myself unable to leave the house due to a sudden rainstorm, that the idea truly ignited—why not create my own candle business?
With that spark of inspiration, I began experimenting in my kitchen, mixing scents and blending waxes, each creation a blend of my personality and passion. I poured my heart into crafting unique candles that not only lit up spaces but also embodied the tranquility and joy I cherished.
Fast forward to today, and I stand here, proud of my journey. My candle business has blossomed, bringing light and warmth to homes just like mine, and I feel immensely blessed to share this passion with others. What started as a simple love for cleanliness has transformed into a vibrant enterprise, illuminating spaces and hearts alike—one candle at a time.
The more I researched, the more I realized how important it was for me to make all natural soy candles. Although paraffin wax is one of the most popular wax used to make candles, it was not the healthiest. In 2018, I bought by first batch of soy wax candle making supplies and began experimenting with all types of wicks, scents and jars. It took me about 4 months to make my almost perfect candle. The beauty of my candle journey was now full underway and La Chandelle was born!!!

OUR CANDLES
The idea of "La Chandelle" came from the French term that defines "The Candle". We pride ourselves in making fine scented candles by only using high quality products that not only are safe for our environment but safe and healthy for your home.
Why Soy Wax?
Our candles are made of all natural soy wax. Soy wax burns longer and does not develop black soot. Soot is normally found at the top of the jar and enhances the chances of asthma and allergies. Our Soy wax is naturally produced by farmers and is vegan friendly. Our soy wax does not contain any animal products and the soy wax as well as the fragrance is never tested on animals. I make sure to make a monthly call to our vendor to confirm this detail has not changed.
Fragrances and Wicks
The fragrances used are best for our natural soy wax. Our candles have strong scents that smell natural and not like chemicals. The wicks are made out of cotton with thin paper threads woven into them. The tabs at the bottom of the wick are free from lead and zinc.
